When a big city has a mysterious outbreak of blindness, the victims are quarantined by the government in a hospital without any medical care, treatment or hygiene. Among the first people affected by the so called “white blindness” are an ophthalmologist and his reluctant health wife that has not lost her sight but stays with him to help him in the difficult moment. The place immediately crowds and a group of criminals takes the power, demanding jewels and electronics first and sex later for the limited ratio of food they control.

Meanwhile in Washington D.C., it is Inauguration Day where the outgoing President Noah Daniels is handing over the presidency to the first female president Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones). Hearing about the coup, Daniels wants to evacuate the country before it falls to the rouge general, while Taylor thinks otherwise. Elsewhere, Taylor’s son Roger and his fiancée Samantha get wind of information from a friend about suspicious money transactions where he works at a local brokerage firm. But neither he or Roger are aware that a corrupt corporate mogul, Jonas Hodges, is plotting with General Juma to overthrow the government for monetary purposes and will do anything to keep his nefarious plans under wraps.

This is the long awaited part 2 for writer/Director Rick Sloane’s campy cult classic Hobgoblins shot in 1987. Old man McCreedy is locked away in a mental hospital when Kevin and his friends are revisited by the nasty creatures. Hobgoblins 2 is done in the style of Grindhouse, it was made to look like a 1980s cheesy horror film, down to having its own fake trailers included.

The film takes place in England sometime after the death of King Arthur. His servant, Merlin (Simon Lloyd Roberts), is still active and now serves under Arthur’s successor to the throne, King Vortigern (Hefin Wyn).

Soon after Vortigern’s coronation, a large army of giant, fire-breathing dragons land in England and begin to terrorise the land, setting fire to buildings and feasting on any who are unable to escape. Due to their size and number, the dragons threaten the very existence of England itself, and Vortigern instructs Merlin to lead an army against the dragons, ordering his best generals - Hengist (Iago McGuire) and Uther (Dylan Jones) - to aid Merlin in any way possible.

With the help of Vortigern and his generals, Merlin begins to think of ways to defeat the dragons, who are growing stronger every day whilst England grows weaker. Using magic and knowledge, Merlin devises a plan that will ultimately decide the fate of English history…
